The Bulls, 1-3-2, got that elusive first win of the season on Saturday against San Francisco, but it won’t get any easier as UNF comes to town. The Ospreys are 3-0-1 and have won 2 games as they come to town (game begins at 7 PM).

usf-mens-soccer-nazeem-bartman-2016-hd USF is averaging just .83 goals per game while allowing 1.83 goals per game. UNF is averaging 3 goals per game and allowing 1.75 goals per game. The USF defense looked stout in the last outing against the Dons, but the Ospreys have a little more firepower on the offensive side of the field going for them.

Leading their offensive attack is senior midfielder Milan Kovacs who has 4 goals on 9 shot attempts so far this season. Junior midfielder Micah Smoak has 3 goals on 11 shot attempts and rounding out their top strikers is junior midfielder (yes, another one) Josh Castellanos who has 3 goals on 7 shot attempts. They will be going against Spasoje Stefanovic who has made 18 saves on the year and has a .621 save percentage overall. Stefanovic looked good in the last game, making 5 total saves as the offense finally got going in front of him.

The USF offense, with Nazeem Bartman finally on the goal scoreboard, could be facing two different keepers in this game. Junior Todd Pedersen has allowed 6 goals this season and has made just 5 saves (.455 save percentage). He split time in the last game with senior keeper Juanes Fajardo who has allowed just 1 goal while making 4 saves on the season (.800 save percentageΒ while playing 180 minutes total in net). It will be interesting to see who gets the start against USF.

UNF is playing great right now and USF just got in the win column on Saturday night. It’s going to be really interesting to see what happens moving forward for the Bulls. Can they get a winning streak going here? Or will it be aΒ step back?
