USF won big over Saint Francis last night, winning 129 to 80 to move to 8-0 on the season. The Bulls set a new program record for most points scored in a game and matched their best start to a season.

The Bulls jumped out to a strong lead to start the game and never looked back. USF led 70 to 43 at the half while shooting 67% from the field while holding Saint Francis to 36%. The Bulls led 28 to 15 in total rebounds and dominated with 36 points in the paint compared to 6 against them.

In the 2nd half, the Bulls just continued to roll as Saint Francis had no answer on either end of the court. USF shot 66% from the field compared to 34% for the Red Flash. USF won the rebounding battle 54 to 33, had 51 points bench points, and dominated with 62 points in the paint compared to 16 for Saint Francis. USF flexed its muscles in this game and won walking away.

The box score for the Bulls was crazy after this game with so many players contributing. Maria Jespersen led the way with 24 points, 11 rebounds, and 5 assists. Ariadna Pujol had 21 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals. Laura Ferreira had 13 points, Kitija Laksa had 12 points, and Laia Flores added 13 points and 8 assists to lead the top scorers for USF. Jessica Kovatch had 37 points for Saint Francis.

Guys, this team is really good and they continue to get better, which is awesome.

The Bulls will now head out to the desert to take on Long Beach State on Monday (game begins at 3:30 PM) in the first of three games in the first Play4Kay Tournament in Las Vegas. Go Bulls!
