Welcome to our series chronicling the 2025 USF Recruiting Class! This series will breakdown every single recruit that has signed to become a part of Head Coach Alex Golesh’s second recruiting class. Let’s welcome OT Caleb Harris to the Bulls!
OT Caleb Harris (St. Thomas Aquinas – Fort Lauderdale, FL)
Committed to the Bulls on January 1st, Harris is one of five offensive linemen to commit to the 2025 class. Via Rivals.com, Harris received offers from UCF, Boston College, Colorado, Duke, Kentucky and more during his recruitment.
Run the Tape:
High motor/effort offensive lineman with experience playing offensive tackle at one of the premier high school programs in the state. Athletic big man who can move downfield when run blocking and quick footwork to match up well with speed rushers. Good overall base who isn’t moved easily in pass protection. Does a fairly good job staying low and generating power through his legs. Demonstrates good technique often and understands how to “turn” defenders away from the ball when run blocking.
Mike’s Take:
There is something to be said about recruiting players from premier high school programs around the country such as St. Thomas Aquinas. In most cases, they are coached “better” and have a better understanding of the game, whether technique or mentality-wise. Harris is the prime example of that, demonstrating a good understanding of the offensive tackle position based on the film above. With the offensive line group changing guards heading into the 2025 season, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Harris in the mix early on in his collegiate career. Welcome to the Bulls Caleb!
