Committed to the Bulls on November 24th, 2024, Geathers is one of four defensive lineman committed to the 2026 class at the end of the early signing period. Via Rivals.com, Geathers received offers from Florida Atlantic, Liberty, Pittsburgh, Georgia Tech, Purdue, James Madison, Georgia State, and Georgia Southern during his recruitment.

Run the Tape:
Lengthy edge rusher whose athleticism is consistently on display. More than capable in beating a blocker as a speed rusher or power rusher but will benefit from a college strength & conditioning program to help him be more effective in overpowering the offensive lineman in front him. Physical at the point of attack who makes linemen “work” to stay engaged to him when they are pass/run blocking. High-effort/motor player who made plays all over the field by being the first defender in pursuit of the ball.
Mike’s Take:
It’s pretty easy to tell where Geathers will find a home at on defense. With new Defensive Coordinator Josh Aldridge in place for 2026, Geathers should find himself at the “Rush” position in a 4-2-5 defense where having a prototype pass rusher is a necessity. When you think long and athletic at the position, Geathers comes to mind as someone who displayed the ability to speed rush a tackle consistently on film. My player comparison for Geathers is none other than Ira Singleton who came out of high school looking like a similar recruit as the Boca Raton product. Welcome to the Bulls Demetrius!
