Welcome to our series chronicling the 2026 USF Recruiting Class where we cover every single recruit who signed with the Bulls during Early Signing Day! Let’s welcome WR Gabe Legrand to the Bulls!
WR Gabe Legrand (Lake Wales – Lake Wales, FL)
Committed to the Bulls on May 24th, 2025, Legrand is one of two receivers committed to the 2026 class at the end of the early signing period. Via Rivals.com, Legrand received offers from Georgia State, Georgia Tech, Minnesota, Toledo, Western Michigan, Marshall, and Kansas during his recruitment.

Run the Tape:
Tall and lengthy receiver whose game screams “WR1.” Often finds himself as the winner on 50/50 passes no matter how tight the coverage is on him. Willing (and successful) in making the difficult catches all across the field. Confident pass catcher who rarely uses his body to secure passes. Displays a second gear towards the end of routes to further separate himself from a defender. Good elusiveness once the ball is in his hands.
Mike’s Take:
Man, talk about a dream scenario for future (and current) Bulls receivers having Head Coach Brian Hartline at helm! If there is someone that knows the wide receiver position, it’s Brian Hartline bringing his NFL experience and collegiate coaching to Tampa who may drop some insight (or two!) for the Bulls receiver group in the future. Nonetheless, Legrand is a special talent who I would not be surprised to see take off in a similar trajectory as Keshaun Singleton who both make the difficult catches look easy and can be relied upon to be WR1 when you need someone to step up and make a big play. Welcome to the Bulls Gabe!
