On Tuesday, St. Edward quarterback Brett Kean became the second Eagles player to commit to college in three days as he gave a verbal commitment to the University of South Florida.
Entering his season, Kean wanted to make this commitment before the season so he would be 100 percent focused on helping the team reach its goal.
“We have an extremely talented team coming back, and we have huge goals for this upcoming season,” Kean said. “It has been my plan the entire way to figure out where I wanted to play before my senior campaign started. I am excited to have made this decision, and focus on St. Edward football.”
