With almost 20 FBS offers, Sam Crawford is one of the numerous high-caliber pass-catchers in the state of Texas’ loaded 2017 receiving class.
On Monday, Crawford released his top six, which included South Florida, Tulane, Texas State, Navy, Colorado State, and Nevada.The 6-foot-1, 190-pound four-star receiver from Rockwall High School near Dallas told Scout why each school made the cut for his top six:
– “USF just because of the area and they were my first FBS offer.”
“Tulane because it’s a great school and I really like the coaching staff and I have a chance to play early.”
– “Texas State because it’s close and I really like the head coach (Everett Withers).”
– “Navy just because of the opportunities after football it presents.”
– “Colorado State because I feel like I can really excel there in the offense and I love the coaching staff.”
