The Bulls fell 2 to 1 to the Cincinnati Bearcats on the road, dropping their overall record to 4-5-2 (1-1) on the season after the loss. That makes it two losses in a row now for the Bulls
In the first half, the Bearcats went ahead 1 to 0 in the 8th minute on a goal from Adam Wilson (second of the year) to put the Bearcats ahead early. USF started the first half slow, but picked it up and won the shot total at 9 to 7 but keeper Pedro Diaz made 3 key saves to keep USF off the board despite several solid looks.
In the 2nd half, the Bearcats made it 2 to 0 in the 66th minute on a goal from Aerin West (assist from Wilson on the goal) extending their lead. USF got on the board in 76th minute on a goal from Cliff Maina (assist to Lindo Mfeka), but that would be it for the Bulls despite winning the shot total for the game at 20 to 14. Spasoje Stefanovic made 4 saves in the game.
The Bulls will host Tulsa next Thursday (game begins at 7 PM) as they return home and try to snap this new losing streak. They need to bounce back to get back in the AAC standings and being at Corbett could help that.
