USF men’s soccer won a thrilling double over time game over Central Florida by a score of 2 to 1. With the win, USF moves to 10-6-2 and heads to the AAC tournament title game on Sunday afternoon!

The two sides would go scoreless in the first half. USF was down 4 to 7 in shot attempts overall heading into the break.

In the 2nd half, Central Florida would take the lead in the 61st minute after a defensive miscue by the Bulls. However in the 76th minute, Nazeem Bartman tied the game at 1 to 1 on a penalty kick, his 5th goal of the season. The two sides would go into double overtime when Marcus Epps in the 101st minute (assists from Ricardo Gomez and Graham Smith) hit that golden goal to put USF into the tournament title game on Sunday. It was quite a dramatic ending but it was so perfect!

USF will host Tulsa (game begins at noon) for the AAC title crown. Time to get everyone to Corbett and get ready to cheer on the Bulls as they look to capture that tournament title.
