#Stampede21 Welcomes S Jordan Blackmon to the Class!
With 35 offers to date, S Jordan Blackmon out of Melbourne, FL (Eau Gallie) committed to the Bulls on June 11th via Twitter, becoming the second DB recruit in the class thus far. Blackmon is currently ranked as the 95th safety in the country, holding offers from Penn State, Auburn, USC, Iowa State, and Iowa to name a few.
Mike’s Take: Big time talent from the Space Coast, Blackmon is everything that you could want from a safety at the next level. Great sideline to sideline ability in coverage along with being an enforcer against the run as a walk-up safety. With high school film, some safeties look the part at one spot better than the other (in terms of free safety or strong safety), but Blackmon could play both roles if need be. Great land by the coaching staff with Blackmon who should be a prominent fixture in the Bulls secondary for years to come.
