#TNSF Welcomes RB K’wan Powell to the Class!
It was only a matter of time for the staff to find a RB with K’wan Powell announcing his commitment to the Bulls on September 1st via Twitter, becoming the first RB commit to the 2021 class thus far. According to 247Sports, Powell is ranked as the 83rd running back in the country, holding offers from LSU, Mississippi State, South Carolina, Washington State, and Florida State to name a few.
Mike’s Take: This was one of the positions that I figured that the staff would try to add at as space starts to slowly fill up in the 2021 class. Powell is a solid running back from the Panhandle, displaying great patience and vision at the position. Even at 5-9, Powell is effective in breaking tackles in the open field and he should be the future for the Bulls as a two/three-down back down the road.
