TAMPA, SEP. 11, 2021 – I’m fired up to drop our first South Florida Bulls Football (1-4,0-1) photo album of 2021 from the Bulls’ 42-20 loss at the hands of the then No. 13 Florida Gators in front of the 66,646 crowd at Raymond James Stadium. The roaring crowd ranks as the third largest home crowd all-time in USF Football history.
The Bulls won the second half, outscoring the Gators 17-7, but couldn’t bounce back from the first half deficit. USF RB Jaren Mangham punched it in for six twice against the Gators, the Bulls’ first touchdowns of the 2021 season.
Safety Brock Nichols and DB Mekhi LaPointe each intercepted Florida’s starting QB, Emory Jones. Nichols returned his 38 yards, LaPointe took his for a 50 yard jaunt deep into Gator territory.
Our staff photographers Dennis Akers and David Gold assembled an amazing collection of moments, finishing with a combined 334 exclusive images only available right here at SFB. We sincerely hope you enjoy flipping through the handpicked photos by Dennis and David, they both take captivating shots. We will also be rolling out our FAMU and BYU photo albums this week as well, so keep yours eyes peeled for the drops!
This week the Bulls are on a bye before hosting Tulsa (2-4,1-1) on Saturday, October 16th with a scheduled noon kickoff airing on ESPNU. #BeatTulsa
