USF Class of 2025 Chronicle: WR Jeremiah Koger

Jeremiah Koger = Future X receiver for your USF Bulls

Welcome to our series chronicling the 2025 USF Recruiting Class! This series will breakdown every single recruit that has signed to become a part of Head Coach Alex Golesh’s second recruiting class. Let’s welcome WR Jeremiah Koger to the Bulls!

WR Jeremiah Koger (St. Frances – Baltimore, MD)

Committed to the Bulls on June 29th, Koger is one of three wide receivers committed to the 2025 class. Via Rivals.com, Koger received offers from Boston College, Maryland, Memphis, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest during his recruitment.

Run the Tape:

Imposing size at the position who will present matchup problems against smaller defensive backs. Deceptive speed for his size who will throw off defensive backs with his ability to separate from a defender in man coverage. Good “hands” catcher. Underrated ability to find yards after the catch. Will be effective as a blocker on the outside whether on run plays or screen passes.

Mike’s Take:

Koger reminds me a lot of current Bull Keshaun Singleton being similar in size and ability to be the X receiver on any college football program in the country. Not only can Koger create one-on-one matchups on the outside, but I also believe that he is capable of running various routes due to his underrated ability to find yards after the catch if he was moved elsewhere in the formation. In this current installment of the Alex Golesh offense, this seems like a must having YAC receivers line up across the position group. With the departures of several wide receivers after a bowl game victory in Hawaii, Koger has the opportunity to insert himself early into the mix as we head into year 3 under Coach Golesh. Welcome to the Bulls Jeremiah!
