Willie Taggart Has the USF Bulls On A Roll

It hasnโ€™t exactly been pretty, but itโ€™s been effective for Willie Taggartโ€™s USF Bulls in league play. After Saturdayโ€™s 13-10 win at UConn, USF ran their American Conference record to 2-0 โ€“ tied with Louisville and Houston atop the standings.

That season opening loss to McNeese State? Old News.ย Getting handled by an awful FAU team? Forgotten. A shocking 0-4 start? Ancient history. In fact, scratch the entire month of September from your USF memory. It was bad. It was unexpected. But mercifully itโ€™s over.

The Bulls are off to their best start in conference play in a decade โ€“ and have had to do it with defense and special teams.
