Tampa – The Bulls will have an attractive bowl lineup to look forward to as head coach Willie Taggart continues to build the program moving forward.
Commissioner Mike Aresco has unveiled the American Athletic Conference’s bowl affiliations for a six-year cycle that begins in 2014 and ends in 2019. In addition to a college football playoff and host bowls, The American will be affiliated with 12 bowl games with a minimum of six or seven selections each year.
“We have emphasized that our primary objective with respect to our bowl lineup is to provide our schools with opportunities to face the best competition in destinations that are attractive to our student-athletes, coaches and fans,” Aresco said in an American release. “I am pleased that we have accomplished that goal with this outstanding bowl lineup.”
