Volume eleven in our second annual ‘SoFloBulls.com USF Football Highlights Series‘ is the one everyone has been waiting on: USF G.O.A.T. #Glock9 South Florida QB Quinton Flowers (@SpotTheBall_9 // @iamflowers9) 2017 highlights. Our highlight reel is jammed packed with Q’s most dynamic, ankle disintegrating plays from the 2017 season. Simply stating Flowers was a program changer for USF is a disservice.
In our opinion, USF QB Quinton Flowers is the greatest to ever adorn a USF jersey! Flowers finished his storied career in the 813 after shattering 42 combined career, season, and game USF Football Program Records. Q aired it out for 8,130 passing yards, 71 passing TD’s, 3,672 rushing yards, and 41 rushing TD’s in his tremendous USF career.
Flowers ranked in the Top 30 nationally in SIX categories, including 9th nationally in Total Offense Yards per Game (332.4), 3rd nationally in Yards Per Completion (15.48), 4th in Yards Per Attempt (8.22), 11th nationally in Points Responsible For Per Game (18.2), and 27th nationally in Passing Touchdowns (25). Flowers also is the all-time quarterback rushing yards leader in Florida history, unseating Tim Tebow’s 2,947 yards mark last season against East Carolina. The laundry list of records as well as accolades are listed below.
We strongly believe number 9 should be the first number ever retired in USF Program history. I simply cannot think of a single player with a greater positive impact on the program. #BullSpeedAhead
