USF safety Khalid McGee, is a dynamic defensive assassin with the speed to hawk down and punish ball carriers. McGee also possess an uncanny knack for defending wideouts one-on-one downfield. The Miami-Northwestern alum joined fellow Northwestern tailback Darius Tice (2013) as part of the class of 2015.
McGee posted an absolutely stellar performance for the Bulls in 2018 season, recording 111 total tackles (64 solo), 6.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, a forced fumble, QB hurry and a pass breakup.
McGee also had a standout 2017 season, recording 38 total tackles (29 solo), 3.5 tackles for loss, and forced a fumble. McGee has amassed 217 total tackles (141 solo), 17.0 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, an interception, forced three and recovered three fumbles in the 48 games in the Miami-Dade native’s USF career.
McGee had a solid 2017 season, recording 38 total tackles (29 solo), 3.5 tackles for loss, and forced a fumble. McGee has amassed 106 total tackles (77 solo), 10.5 tackles for loss, an interception, forced two fumbles, and recovered three fumbles in 36 games to date in his USF career.
McGee earned FHSAA’s 2015 Florida All-State 6A Honorable Mention honors, as well as being selected to participate in the Miami-Dade North vs. South All-Star Game, landed at No. 15 on the Miami Herald’s Miami-Dade Class of 2015 Top 25 Recruits ranking, and No. 25 on the Miami Herald’s Dade-Broward Class of 2015 Top 150 Recruits ranking.
McGee was rated an 86.24 three-star by 247 Sports, three stars by Scout, a three star 77 by ESPN, and 5.70 three star, 50th best safety by Rivals. McGee also received offers from Florida State, Cincinnati, Kentucky, Louisville, Mississippi State, Rutgers, UAB, Utah, Wisconsin, Western Kentucky, West Virginia, Florida International, Florida Atlantic, and Central Florida.
