Covering the second commit to the USF Football 2022 Recruiting Class, let’s get after it!

#22Bullies Welcomes S Elijah Davis to the Class!

Auburndale to Tampa pipeline anyone? I’m feeling it! Joining his former Auburndale teammate with Jaelen Stokes already on the Bulls roster, S Elijah Davis announced his commitment to the Bulls on April 20th via Twitter. Ranked as the 48th safety in the country, Davis holds offers from Michigan, Iowa State, Nebraska, Indiana, and Virginia Tech to name a few.

Mike’s Take:

It’s always fun watching tape to see where a player projects at the next level (especially when it comes to a specific spot on the field), but what makes Davis special is his versatility on the back end of the defense. Davis could play either FS or SS at the next level, proving to be effective in coverage no matter where the ball is thrown along with being an enforcer against the run whenever the play heads his direction. Let the offers SPEAK because I have no doubt in my mind that Davis could play with the best of them at the next level. Welcome to the 2022 class Elijah!
