(Having a full year to put a class together.) Help us welcome DE Ashton Mosley (247, Rivals)to the Bulls!
DE Ashton Mosley (Blountstown – Blountstown, FL)
Committed to the Bulls on June 16th, Mosley is one of four defensive ends committed to the 2024 class (as it stands now). Via Rivals.com, Mosley received offers from Florida Atlantic, UAB, Western Kentucky, Troy and Alabama State during his recruitment.
According to MaxPreps.com, Mosley finished his senior year with 77 total tackles, 19 tackles for a loss and 8.5 sacks.
Run the Tape:
Speed, speed, speed. Demonstrates the flexibility to bend his hips while rushing the passer. Long, lengthy pass rusher who has a high ceiling at the next level. Athletic and versatile to sit back in coverage and/or spy against mobile QBs. Relentless motor and pursuit to the ball is apparent throughout his tape. Often looked like the best athlete on the field.
Mike’s Take:
I love Mosley’s potential at the next level. One thing that I give this coaching staff a lot of credit for is their ability to find pass rushers that can really take this defense to new heights when they are developed properly. Mosley reminds me a lot of DE Ira Singleton who joins Ashton in this class as two edge rushers who could be dominant in the AAC for years to come. Welcome to the Bulls Ashton!
