Welcome to our series chronicling the 2024 USF Recruiting Class! This series will breakdown every single recruit that has signed to become a part of Head Coach Alex Golesh’s first full recruiting class. (Having a full year to put a class together.) Help us welcome DE Dinellson Exume to the Bulls!
DE Dinellson Exume (Edison – Miami, FL)
Committed to the Bulls on December 6th, Exume was one of six defensive linemen to commit to the 2024 class. Via Rivals.com, Exume received offers from Florida, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Maryland, Miami and more during his recruitment. Dinellson’s brother Chenellson also joined the Bulls in the 2024 recruiting class as well.
Run the Tape:
Quick twitch defensive end who can dominate slower offensive linemen at the collegiate level. Moves well for his size and will be found in pursuit of the ball consistently. High effort/motor athlete that will benefit a defense with his ability to move across the line of scrimmage (when asked). Plays fast but understands when to contain the edge in not letting the ball carrier get outside of him.
Mike’s Take:
There is a lot to be excited about with Dinellson Exume and it’s not just because the Miami product racked up impressive offers during his time at Edison! The physical traits such as the size and speed combination are the first things that stand out when watching his film and all I can think about is how he will develop with a defensive line coach like Kevin Patrick over the next few years. If Exume puts it all together, he could be one of the best defensive ends in the conference when it’s all said and done. Two words: Development and Opportunity. Welcome to the Bulls Dinellson!
