USF Women’s Soccer Beats Temple

USF won 1 to 0 in double over time against Temple in a thrilling road victory. The win puts USF at 10-1-1 (3-1-1) as they get back in the win column in league play.

The two sides would go into overtime with the scoreless tie despite USF leading the shot totals throughout the first 90 minutes of regulation. The two sides would go into a second overtime when Grace Adams, from 22 yards out, hit her first goal of the season to give the Bulls the exciting road victory in Philadelphia.

USF won the overall shot battle with an impressive mark of 21 to 6. Evelyne Viens, Trudi Carter, and Leticia Skeete each totaled 5 shot attempts a piece. Kat Elliott had 3 saves in net for the Bulls. Jordan Nash made 6 saves for the Owls.

With this impressive victory, the Bulls will head to Uconn on Sunday (game begins at noon) in another critical late season conference match-up. On to the next!
