#22Bullies Welcomes WR Javohn Thomas to the Class!
It seems only fitting that the first commit to the 2022 class would come from the Bay with WR Javohn Thomas announcing his commitment to the Bulls on March 11th via Twitter. Currently unranked by 247Sports and Rivals, Thomas holds offers from FIU and South Dakota. Thomas is a two-sport athlete at Sickles HS playing both football and basketball for the Gryphons. He looks to do the same at USF when he enrolls with the Bulls in 2022.
Mike’s Take:
From the looks of it, Thomas has only played one varsity football season for the Gryphons in 2020 which if you turn on his film, you will see a polished receiver who looks like he has been playing the game for years. Being a two-sport athlete, the athleticism was expected, but when you talk about a player having a good “feel” for the game, Thomas falls under that category. The sky’s the limit for the #BayMade athlete and this should be someone that if he continues to develop over time, Javohn has the potential to be great at the next level in both sports.
