TE Jayson Littlejohn (College of the Sequoias)
Committed to the Bulls since December 8th, Littlejohn represents one of two tight ends committed to the 2022 class. Littlejohn is currently ranked as the 3rd best JUBO TE by 247Sports.com, garnering an offer from Northern Colorado with interest from UNLV during his recruitment. Littlejohn was a Class of 2019 recruit out of high school who played his last two seasons at the junior college level in Visalia, CA for the College of the Sequoias.
At the College of the Sequoias, Littlejohn racked up 43 receptions on 467 yards and six touchdowns in two seasons. Jayson enrolled with the Bulls in January.
Run the Tape:
Converted WR who understands the nuances that come with being a receiver. Willing blocker who uses his frame to block out defenders. Can separate from linebackers and/or defensive backs on routes downfield. Comfortable as a blocker whether on/off the line. Will surprise defenses with his route running ability. Yards after the catch receiver who will “get his” once the ball is in his hands.
Mike’s Take:
With former USF TE Mitchell Brinkman heading to greener pastures, the coaching staff had to address the TE position in the 2022 class one way or another. Littlejohn was a recruit that the coaching staff had their eyes on for a few months now and after watching his film, he is a perfect fit for this offense and how OC Charlie Weis Jr. utilizes the TE spot.
