Welcome to our series chronicling the 2024 USF Recruiting Class! This series will breakdown every single recruit that signed to become a part of Head Coach Alex Golesh’s first full recruiting class. (Having a full year to put a class together.) Help us welcome K Nico Gramatica to the Bulls!
K Nico Gramatica (Cambridge Christian – Tampa, FL)
Committed to the Bulls on June 26th, Gramatica is the only special teams player to commit to the 2024 class on scholarship. Via Rivals.com, Gramatica’s only offer was USF with interest from UF and Kansas State during his recruitment.

Mike’s Take:
I shouldn’t have to tell Bulls fans about the Gramatica name (and I won’t), but it’s exciting to get a kicker with as much talent as Nico brought to the table at the high school level. USF will now have two kickers on scholarship (not including current kicker John Cannon) and just like how every position is up for grabs, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Gramatica give the current USF special teams group a run for their money come fall this year. If there was any issue that the kicking group faced this year, it was the unwillingness by Golesh to trot out his kicker for a long field goal. Now whether that was due to having an aggressive philosophy on offense and/or reluctance to kick it deep, the question is will that approach change with Nico in the mix? Nonetheless, welcome to the Bulls Nico!
